Are you reliable, hardworking, and enjoy working as part of a team? We are looking for a Drivers Mate to support our drivers in delivering excellent service to our customers.
As a Drivers Mate, you will work alongside a professional driver, assisting with the safe and timely delivery of goods to customers. This is a physically active role that requires excellent teamwork and a positive attitude.
✅A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE
Ensuring goods are handled safely and securely
Supporting the driver with navigation and delivery paperwork
Carrying out manual handling duties in line with health and safety procedures
Accompanying and assisting driver with unloading deliveries at licensed premises or homes
Staying in touch with the transport team to advise of any problems
Completing relevant processes on an electronic handheld device
✅THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO
Are physically fit as the role involves lots of manual handling
Have previous experience of working with volume orders
Have excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage their own workload
Previous experience as a Driver's Mate, within a similar environment would be ideal but isn't a deal breaker!
