Software Analyst – Test Automation
We are looking for a Software Analyst with strong experience in software testing and Python-based test automation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and maintain automated test frameworks using Python.
- Create automated tests using Pytest and BDD frameworks such as Behave.
- Perform API, integration and functional testing.
- Develop performance and load-testing scripts using Locust.
- Analyse software requirements and translate them into effective test scenarios.
- Identify, document and support resolution of software defects.
- Work closely with developers, business analysts and other project stakeholders.
- Support continuous improvement of testing and quality assurance processes.
Key Skills:
- Strong Python programming skills.
- Hands-on experience with Pytest.
- Experience with BDD testing frameworks, preferably Behave or similar.
- Experience with Locust or other performance-testing tools.
- Understanding of APIs, REST services and automated API testing.
- Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Previous experience in an automation testing, software testing or software analyst role is desirable.
Pay: £36,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
Work Location: Hybrid remote in London
