We are looking for a motivated and reliable individual to join our team as a Commercial Catering & Ventilation Engineer. No previous experience in the commercial catering industry is required, as full training will be provided.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with practical skills and a willingness to learn a specialist trade within the commercial catering and kitchen ventilation sector.
The Role
Working alongside experienced engineers, you will assist with:
- Installation, servicing and maintenance of commercial catering equipment
- Installation and servicing of kitchen ventilation and extraction systems
- Fault finding and basic repairs
- Compliance testing and safety inspections
- Supporting engineers on customer sites across a range of commercial premises
What We're Looking For
Essential Skills
- Practical experience using hand and power tools
- Good problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Good communication skills
Desirable Experience
- Background in electrical work
- Understanding of electrical safety and safe isolation procedures
- Experience in plumbing, construction, engineering, maintenance or other related trades
- GCSE Grade C/4 or above (or equivalent) in Maths and English
- Full clean UK driving licence
