An exciting opportunity working for one of Britain's leading timber frame manufacturers, established since 1982. We currently have a strong order book and subcontractor base established for 2026 and beyond in the southwest region
You will be managing subcontract labour and the Timber Frame erection process on multiple housing sites across the Southwest including North Devon, Devon, Dorset and Exeter.
This role is site based and is expected to be 4 days on sites with one day working from home as required.
Through managing subcontract labour to ensure all works are completed and handed over to desired HSE standards, Product QA and contractual requirements within timescales.
Emphasis on snagging and hand over of completed units alongside recording of golden thread documentation and other contract critical milestones to ensure compliance.
You will be managing the contract from prestart through to final completion. Throughout the contract lifecycle we place a strong emphasis upon effective feedback to all stakeholders of the business to aid continuous improvement of the person, product, and process.
Timber Frame experience or carpentry skills alongside previous management experience is desired.
Relevant CSCS card (essential), SSTS, SMSTS, CPCS/NPORS appointed person crane certification desirable.
Working within our progressive team we provide full training and support.
Daily use of a computer is required so your IT and communication skills should be up to date.
Company vehicle provided with fuel card and accessories.
We will consider a Supervisor who is willing to develop to level of Construction Manager by following an established development and training plan.
