Overview
We are seeking a proactive and dependable Part Time Maintenance Person to join our team! Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment, machinery, and building systems to ensure optimal operation.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues promptly and effectively.
- Read schematics and technical manuals to diagnose problems accurately and execute repairs efficiently.
- Conduct welding and other metalwork repairs as needed to maintain equipment integrity.
- Operate programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to monitor and adjust automated systems.
- Supervise or assist with maintenance tasks performed by other team members or contractors.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections for compliance and future reference.
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company policies while providing excellent customer service to internal teams.
Requirements
- Proven experience in maintenance roles with strong mechanical knowledge.
- Electrical experience including working with wiring, circuits, schematics, and PLCs.
- Skilled in welding techniques with the ability to perform metal repairs confidently.
- Ability to interpret schematics, technical manuals, and blueprints accurately.
- Demonstrated leadership or supervising experience in a maintenance environment.
- Excellent communication skills in English for clear reporting and teamwork.
- Customer service mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Physical ability to perform manual tasks such as lifting heavy objects, climbing ladders, or working in confined spaces.
