Join Our Caring Team at Fir Villa Residential Home
Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of older people? Fir Villa Residential Home, a small and welcoming family-run care home in the peaceful village of Marston Magna near Yeovil, is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our close-knit team.
With a maximum of 24 residents, we pride ourselves on delivering truly person-centred care in a homely and supportive environment. This is more than just a job — it’s an opportunity to be part of a team that values kindness, respect, and the highest standards of care.
What You’ll Do
- Provide personal care and support with daily living tasks
- Engage with residents to promote their wellbeing and independence
- Record care notes using our digital care planning system
- Be a vital part of a team that treats residents like family
What We’re Looking For
- Ideally, you’ll have at least a Level 2 NVQ/Diploma in Health and Social Care
- Experience in care is preferred, but above all, we value a caring nature and a genuine desire to help others
- A team player who shares our ethos of compassion and excellence
- Willingness to work up to 35 hours per week, including alternate weekends
- Flexibility to work a mix of shifts: 8am–3pm and 2:30pm–9:30pm

- Excellent hourly rate: £13–£14.30, depending on qualifications and experience
- Weekend pay enhancement in addition to normal pay rate
