We are seeking a professional and friendly Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our clients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service while managing a variety of administrative tasks. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our office and enhancing the overall experience for everyone who interacts with our organisation.
Duties
- Greet and welcome visitors in a warm and professional manner.
- Answer phone calls, directing inquiries to the appropriate personnel while maintaining excellent phone etiquette.
- Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails and postal mail.
- Perform clerical duties such as filing, data entry, and maintaining office supplies.
- Utilise computerised systems to manage appointments and schedules efficiently.
- Maintain an organised reception area, ensuring it is tidy and presentable at all times.
- Collaborating with the administrator to support various office functions.
- Alternate weekend work.
Skills
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Excellent clerical and administrative skills, including data entry accuracy.
- Ability to type efficiently and accurately.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on professionalism.
- Preferably have an understanding of Care Home administrative duties
- A friendly demeanour with a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
