Warehouse Packer
Responsible for accurately picking, packing and preparing customer orders for dispatch in a busy e-commerce warehouse. We work on a 2 week rota.
Week one hours - Wednesday, Friday, Saturday.
Week two hours - Monday, Tuesday, Friday.
Our working times are 8am - 5pm.
Key duties include:
- Picking and packing customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Checking products and quantities before dispatch
- Packing items securely to minimise damage in transit
- Printing and applying shipping labels
- Keeping packing stations and warehouse areas clean and organised
- Replenishing stock and assisting with general warehouse duties
- Working as part of the team to meet daily order and dispatch targets
The role requires good attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Must be able to lift up to 25kg's, repetitively. Must be able to stand for long periods of time, bend, reach overhead, twist at waist or back, and move quickly while handling materials in a warehouse environment. Must be able to work with all types of products such as paper bags, cartons of various sizes, pallets of various types of merchandise, crates of various sizes etc.. Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team as we are a small company.
- Experience within a warehouse would be great, but not essential. A certain degree of physical fitness is needed to lift and move boxes/pallets as well as shrink wrapping pallets.
