In the role of Chief Technical Specialist Power Electronics, you will work closely with the Chief Engineer Power Electronics and provide the Electrified Powertrain function with technical leadership, input and expertise in the field of power electronics design. The role encompasses involvement in all phases of the development cycle from requirements capture through to production intent design, across a wide range of power conversion systems that include traction inverters, DC-DC converters and onboard chargers. Providing guidance on the delivery of new technology and bespoke designs in challenging, diverse and innovative applications will be a regular feature of the role.
As Chief Technical Specialist you will actively participate in industry events, conferences and seminars, positioning Drive System Design (DSD) as a leader in electrification and power electronics design. You will also provide the Business Development function with technical support, directly engaging with new and existing customers, and proposing power electronic solutions to satisfy specified requirements.
The role involves operating in a dynamic project environment including technical, commercial and customer management.
