Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Deli Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of deli products while ensuring the highest standards of food safety and customer service. Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the deli area, adhering to food safety regulations.
- Assist customers with their selections, providing recommendations and upselling additional products.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently while following all health and safety guidelines.
- Manage inventory levels, ensuring that products are fresh and well-stocked.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently when required.
Skills
- Previous experience in food preparation or a restaurant environment is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of food safety practices and regulations.
- Experience in a kitchen or culinary setting is advantageous.
- Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tasks effectively.
