Salary: £55,000 per annum
Location: Lymington
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Care Home Manager to take overall responsibility for the day-to-day management of a nursing and residential care home in Lymington.
The successful candidate will provide strong leadership to the staff team, ensure high standards of person-centred care, maintain full CQC compliance and take responsibility for the home's financial and operational performance.
You will be supported by an experienced Operations and Central team, alongside a Deputy Manager, Administrator, Hospitality and Housekeeping teams, ensuring you have the support required to run the home effectively.

Provide strong leadership and direction to the home's staff team, promoting a culture of kindness, compassion and excellence.

Ensure the home meets all CQC, legislative and regulatory requirements.

Oversee the home's budget, financial performance, costs and occupancy levels.

Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to maintain full occupancy.

Build positive relationships with residents, families, professionals and other key stakeholders.

Monitor care quality, safeguarding, audits and overall service performance.

Support the continued growth and development of the home and identify opportunities for improvement.

Previous experience managing a nursing or residential care home.

Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and compliance, ideally with a proven track record of improving services.

Excellent leadership, communication and relationship-building skills.

Commercially aware, with experience managing budgets and occupancy.

Experience of marketing and developing a care home would be advantageous.

Passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred care.

Confident working with residents, families, staff and external professionals.

NMC registration with relevant post-registration experience is desirable but not essential.
