Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Air Conditioning Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and installing air conditioning systems across various sites. Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on air conditioning units and associated equipment to ensure efficient operation.
- Diagnose faults using schematics and technical manuals, then perform repairs or replacements as necessary.
- Lead installation projects, including planning, system setup, and commissioning of new air conditioning systems.
- Repair and service HVAC equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards and manufacturer specifications.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical drawings, and blueprints to facilitate accurate installation and repair work.
- Supervise junior team members during maintenance or installation tasks, providing guidance and leadership.
- Collaborate with construction teams during building projects to integrate air conditioning systems seamlessly into the infrastructure.
- Maintain detailed records of all work performed, parts used, and system conditions for future reference.
Experience
- Proven experience in mechanical knowledge related to air conditioning systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair.
- Familiarity with schematics, technical drawings, and system blueprints is essential.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with previous supervisory or team-leading roles preferred.
- Practical experience in equipment repair within HVAC or related mechanical fields is highly desirable.
- Construction experience involving HVAC systems or building services will be considered an advantage.
- Strong understanding of maintenance protocols for climate control systems in commercial or industrial environments.
