We are looking for compassionate, resilient, and motivated Residential Support Workers to work flexibly across our services, including:
- Children's Residential Homes
- Semi-Independent Supported Accommodation
- Mother and Baby Unit

About the Role
As a Residential Support Worker, you will provide high-quality care, guidance, and emotional support tailored to the individual needs of each child, young person, or family.
Working across multiple services means no two days are the same. You'll develop a broad range of skills while supporting young people at different stages of their journey towards independence, stability, and positive outcomes.
Your Responsibilities
- Build positive, trusting relationships with children, young people, and mothers.
- Promote emotional wellbeing, independence, confidence, and resilience.
- Safeguard children and young people in accordance with legislation and organisational policies.
- Support with daily routines, education, appointments, life skills, and recreational activities.
- Complete accurate records, reports, and care documentation.
- Work collaboratively with families, social workers, education providers, healthcare professionals, and external agencies.
- Encourage positive behaviour through therapeutic and trauma-informed approaches.
- Participate in team meetings, training, and reflective practice.
- Work flexibly across MARVINS services to meet operational needs.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for people who genuinely care and want to make a lasting impact.
Ideally, you'll have:
- Experience working with children, young people, or vulnerable adults (preferred but not essential).
- A caring, empathetic, and resilient nature.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, sleep-ins, and bank holidays.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- A full UK driving licence is desirable.
