BARTENDER JOB DESCRIPTION
JOB TITLE: Bartender
REPORTING TO: Bar Supervisor/ Bar Manager
AIM OF THE ROLE
- To take drink orders, prepare alcoholic and non- alcoholic beverages to a specification required by the company.
- To deliver customer service to the highest possible standard.
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- To give exceptional customer service to all customers following the company customer service standard.
- To prepare alcoholic and non- alcoholic beverages for customers to the company spec.
- To learn and execute all Junkyard House Cocktails along with selection of classics.
- To assess customers' needs and preferences and make recommendations.
- To be extremely welcoming towards customers with a positive and friendly attitude, interacting where possible to ensure guests feel looked after.
- To check customers' identification and check it complies with legal drinking age.
- To work closely with Bar Supervisor/ Manager and communicate with all team members to ensure that Junkyard Golf Club's standard of customer care is exceeded.
- To push cocktail specials and incentives.
- To manage and process payment transactions using the POS system accurately.
- To restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies in line with business levels.
- To minimize wastage effectively and communicate with sups and managers to do so.
- To clean glasses, utensils, and equipment to a high standard.
- To safely prepare, serve and store a variety of low-risk food offerings.
- To maintain a safe and hygienic working environment, being as tidy and organised as possible.
- To comply with all health, safety and hygiene standards and policies.
- To be responsible for cleanliness of venue inclusive but not restricted to set up, clean down, floors, waste and surfaces.
- To be able to work in other areas of the venue according to the needs of the business.
- To be responsible for checking daily bookings board and being aware of shift business levels/changes.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: £12.71 per hour
