ANZUK Education is working with welcoming and inclusive schools across the Birmingham area seeking experienced SEN Teachers to join their teams. These full-time positions offer the opportunity to make a meaningful and lasting impact, delivering high-quality teaching and support to pupils with Special Educational Needs across primary and secondary settings.

This SEN Teacher role in Birmingham would suit experienced SEN Teachers, Inclusion Teachers, or specialist educators with ASD experience who are ready to take the next step in their career.
Key Responsibilities of a SEN Teacher:
- Plan and deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons tailored to the needs of pupils with Special Educational Needs
- Support and develop pupils with ASD and other additional needs to achieve their individual learning outcomes
- Implement and contribute to EHCPs and individual support plans in collaboration with the SENDCO
- Maintain a safe, nurturing and inclusive classroom environment
- Monitor and track pupil progress, providing regular feedback to pupils, families and leadership
- Uphold safeguarding, confidentiality and health & safety procedures at all times
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, families and external professionals
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Have proven experience teaching pupils with Special Educational Needs in a primary or secondary setting
- Demonstrate strong knowledge and experience of working with pupils with ASD
- Maintain high expectations for pupil progress, attainment and wellbeing
- Hold an exemplary commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
- Work collaboratively within a team and communicate effectively with colleagues, families and external agencies
- Hold an enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply)
