We are looking for an energetic team player with a good sense of humor. Previous experience within the retail sector is preferred for this role, including providing excellent customer care, till work, cash handling and stocking shelves, although training can be provided.
We also have a small Post Office within the store, so a willingness to learn would be advantageous.
The ideal candidate will be a team player and willing to offer flexibility with working hours over 7 days where needed, including helping to cover team shifts and holiday cover.

Main Role Responsibilities:
· Managing instore facilities to ensure brand standards are met
· Meeting targets, managing costs, wages, waste and cash shortages
· Managing stock, ordering and deliveries ensuring all shortages damages are reported within the correct timelines
· Ensure customers are served quickly, professionally with excellent customer service
· Manage the performance of your team ensuring the correct level of training for their role
· Ensure all the daily cashing, banking tasks are completed accurately within the allocated timelines
· Maximizing sales by ensuring product availability across the store, managing merchandising and in-store promotions.
· Implementing company policies, procedures to ensure the store operates in a safe and legal manner to cover all aspects of food safety
· Managing the store and forecourt ensuring high standards are met
· To see in fuel deliveries safely and legally to meet the needs of the business.
· To oversee the instore bakery.
· To manage the retail sale of alcohol
· An experienced people-manager
· Used to leading teams in a fast-paced, stakeholder/customer driven environment
· Skilled in time management and boosting operational efficiency
· Motivated to consistently achieve targets
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £30,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
