Fairview School, Perth
Fairview School is located on the Perth Academy / Viewlands Primary School campus and is the Authority’s school for children and young people with severe and complex additional support needs aged 3-18.
We seek an experienced and enthusiastic pupil support assistant with experience of supporting children and young people with complex additional support needs.
Your role will involve supporting individuals and small groups of children and young people within a class to develop their skills for life, work and learning. Pupils require support with developing communication and regulation skills and often require support with personal care and eating and drinking to promote independence.
You will be supporting pupils to be the best they can be across a range of contexts for learning and preparing them for life after school.
Time will be spent outdoors and in the community, including swimming.
The anticipated starting date for these posts will be at the start of the new term in August.
