Job Summary
As a Maintenance Assistant, you’ll play a vital part in ensuring the smooth and safe daily operation of the hotel. You’ll be responsible for routine maintenance, minor repairs, guest support, and ensuring all hotel facilities remain in excellent condition. Your contributions will directly enhance our guests' experiences and support the wider hotel team.
Duties
- Assist with electrical and mechanical repairs across various hotel areas, including guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house facilities.
- Ability to perform full room PPM and good knowledge of painting, grout and silicone.
- Read and interpret schematics and technical drawings to facilitate maintenance tasks.
- Support with the inspection, servicing, and repair of plumbing, lighting, HVAC systems, and other mechanical equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and report any issues requiring specialised attention.
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and hotel standards.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to guest or staff requests related to maintenance issues.
Experience
- Previous hotel maintenance experience is essential.
- Excellent knowledge of grouting, silicone and painting is required.
- Good knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general building maintenance is a plus.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.

Pay: £29,900.00 per year
