As a Licensed Conveyancer, you will manage all aspects of property transfers, remortgages, and related legal documentation with precision and professionalism. Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end conveyancing transactions, including sales, purchases, remortgages, and transfers of ownership
- Prepare, review, and lodge legal documents such as contracts, transfer deeds, and mortgage instructions with relevant authorities
- Communicate effectively with clients, estate agents, mortgage brokers, and other stakeholders to keep all parties informed and engaged
- Ensure compliance with all legal requirements and regulatory standards throughout each transaction
- Organize and prioritize multiple cases efficiently using IT systems to meet deadlines and deliver exceptional service
- Conduct thorough title searches and due diligence to identify any potential issues or restrictions affecting property transactions
- Maintain accurate case records and documentation to support transparency and audit readiness
Requirements
- Valid license as a Conveyancer or Legal Practitioner authorized to practice conveyancing within the jurisdiction
- Proven experience in residential or commercial conveyancing processes
- Strong communication skills to explain complex legal concepts clearly to clients and colleagues
- Proficiency with IT systems used for case management, document drafting, and legal research
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple cases simultaneously without compromising quality
- Outstanding organizational skills to maintain detailed records and ensure seamless transaction flow
- Knowledge of current property laws, regulations, and best practices relevant to conveyancing
