We’re looking for an artworker to join our team, preparing accurate artwork and proofs for production across a wide range of projects. While art working you will be at the heart of the role.
This is an office-based role in Thame, working closely with our design and production teams.
The Role
Working alongside our designers and production team, you’ll be responsible for taking approved designs and preparing the artwork and information required for manufacture.
Your day-to-day work will include:
- Producing artwork and proofs for client approval
- Preparing accurate, production-ready artwork
- Setting winner names, categories and other personalised information
- Checking spelling, layout, sizing and positioning
- Working with client-supplied logos and brand assets
- Making artwork amendments following client feedback
- Preparing files for different manufacturing and finishing processes
- Working with designers and production colleagues to resolve artwork queries
- Getting involved in award design where appropriate.
- Managing multiple projects and deadlines
- Maintaining accurate files and artwork versions
- Ensuring all visuals adhere to the established brand guidelines
- Working alongside creative directors, designers and external suppliers to meet project deadlines.
What We’re Looking For
You will need
- Strong working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator
- Experience in artwork, graphic design, graphic production, reprographics, or a similar role
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good typography and layout skills
- Excellent spelling and proofreading skills
- Confidence working with detailed and variable information.
- Good organisation and time-management skills
- The ability to work quickly and accurately when required.
- A calm, practical approach when priorities change or deadlines are tight.
- The ability to manage several jobs at once and prioritise effectively.
