Our high-performance security panels protect some of the UK's most demanding environments, including defence, critical infrastructure, public sector and commercial developments.
As our business continues to grow, we're looking for a commercially focused Sales & Estimation Manager to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys building lasting customer relationships, producing accurate technical quotations, and playing a key role in securing new business.
Reporting to the Head of Technical & Design, you'll be responsible for managing customer accounts, preparing estimates, supporting the sales process and ensuring projects are successfully handed over to our internal teams.
The Role
As Sales & Estimation Manager, you will:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
- Understand client requirements and prepare accurate quotations and estimates.
- Review technical drawings and specifications to produce accurate take-offs.
- Ensure quotations, pricing and orders are processed accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain quotation records within the Epicor ERP system.
- Manage customer accounts and keep CRM records accurate and up to date.
- Amend quotations as projects develop and communicate changes across the business.
- Attend client meetings to discuss project requirements and provide technical support.
- Deliver comprehensive project handovers to internal stakeholders.
- Respond promptly to customer enquiries via telephone and email.
- Coordinate day-to-day sales and estimating activities.
- Promote Securiclad's products to new and existing customers.
- Help achieve agreed sales and revenue targets.
- Represent Securiclad at exhibitions, trade shows and industry events.
- Produce monthly sales reports and weekly performance data.
- Monitor competitor activity and market trends.
- Develop structured sales plans for key customer accounts.
- Support the wider team with additional business requirements as needed.
About You
You'll ideally have:
- Previous experience in sales, estimating or account management within construction, manufacturing or building products.
- The ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organisational skills with great attention to detail.
- The ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills.
- A proactive, self-motivated approach with a positive attitude.
- A commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
