As we continue to expand, we are looking for a proactive and detail‑oriented Licensing Executive to join our Operations team.
Role Overview
As a Licensing Executive, you will play a vital role in ensuring all replacement taxis are correctly licensed, compliant, and ready for deployment to customers across multiple licensing authorities. You’ll be responsible for managing vehicle licensing processes, liaising with councils, and ensuring timely renewals and documentation accuracy.

Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage the licensing of replacement taxis across multiple local authorities.
- Prepare and submit licensing applications, renewals, and supporting documentation.
- Liaise with councils, licensing offices, and internal teams to ensure smooth and timely approvals.
- Maintain accurate licensing records, logs, and expiry schedules.
- Ensure all vehicles meet licensing requirements—including inspections, signage, insurance, and documentation.
- Work closely with fleet, logistics, and hire teams to ensure vehicles are compliant before hire.
- Communicate with customers to gather information required for licensing appointments.
- Monitor regulatory changes across different licensing authorities and advise the wider team.
- Support general operational administration as required to keep the hire process running efficiently.
Skills & Experience
Essential:
- Strong administrative and organisational skills.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Confident communicator—comfortable dealing with councils, customers, and internal teams.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Desirable:
- Experience within taxi licensing, credit hire, accident management, or motor insurance.
- Understanding of local authority taxi licensing regulations.
- Previous experience in a compliance or fleet administration role.
