KaarbonTech provide tree and other asset management software and services to the private arboricultural sector and over 50% of the local government sector.
We are looking to recruit talented arboricultural surveyors to join our growing team, surveying highways tree stocks across Staffordshire.
The Role:
You will be conducting inventory and health surveys of trees along Public Rights of Way across Staffordshire. Successful candidates will have experience of conducting tree inspections to LANTRA PTI standards and experience of surveying on Public Rights of Way.
You will be joining a growing business and can expect a challenging and rewarding position. You will work closely with colleagues, customers and contractors, ensuring all work is completed to the highest possible standards and within given time and budget constraints.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Level 3 or higher in Arboriculture or an associated discipline
- LANTRA Professional Tree Inspector qualification is essential
- QTRA training and membership would be advantageous
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong tree identification and inspection experience
- Knowledge and understanding of BS 5837 and BS 3998
- Demonstrable experience of using industry standard software, such as GIS-based software
- Experience using such software for tree mapping and assessment
- Comfortable working independently as well as within a team
- Highly motivated with a positive approach to work
- Full clean driving licence
Successful candidates will be offered a competitive starting salary of £32,00-£36,000 per annum depending on experience and benefits package as well as the chance to grow and progress within this exciting field.
