Do you love making people feel welcome?
We're looking for a warm, friendly and organised receptionist to join our team on evenings and weekends.
We have an established reception team, and some of our evening and weekend hours have been covered by junior members of our beauty team. Now that they're busy with more beauty treatments, we're looking for someone to take on those evening and weekend shifts on reception.
This is a proper front-of-house role: welcoming clients, answering the phone, booking appointments, taking payments, and helping the salon run smoothly. Full training is given. Cleaning is a genuine part of the job, so you'll need to take pride in keeping the salon spotless.
About us
Established in 2010, we're an award-winning beauty and tanning salon in Old Harlow with a genuinely loyal client base, reflected in over 1,146 five star Google reviews. We're a Dermalogica exclusive partner, open seven days a week, and proud of our friendly, supportive team.
The shifts available are:
- Tuesday: 5:45pm to 9:15pm
- Thursday: 5:45pm to 9:30pm
- Two Saturdays a month: 8:45am to 6:15pm
- Three Sundays a month: 9:45am to 6:15pm
Depending on which shifts you can do, hours range from around 15 to 34 a week, averaging about 17. Sundays are where we most need cover, so Sunday availability is really important. You don't need to be able to do all of these. Please tell us which you can do and we can discuss it.
You'll get your rota six weeks in advance, so you can plan around college, work or family.
Pay is National Minimum Wage, based on age: £12.71 an hour for 21 and over, £10.85 for 18 to 20, and £8.00 for under 18.
