We are seeking a Fish & Chip Shop Operator to run our recently refurbished restaurant. This role is vital in ensuring the smooth operation of our food service outlet, contributing to our company's reputation for quality and customer satisfaction. The successful candidate will be responsible for daily food preparation and service at our shop.

Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook fish and chips according to company standards.
- Serve customers efficiently with a friendly attitude.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the shop.
- Manage stock levels and order supplies as needed.
- Ensure food safety regulations are strictly followed.
- Handle cash register operations and transactions.
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience.
- Assist in opening and closing procedures of the shop.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience in food preparation or restaurant environment.
- Knowledge of food safety standards.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Basic math skills for cash handling.
- Previous experience in a fast-paced food outlet is preferred.
