The Hastings Sofa Company is a manufacturer and supplier of high quality upholstered furniture to both trade and retail customers. Due to increased sales we are now looking to employ an additional fabric cutter/ CAD design operator, experienced in the operation of a Lectra cutting machine.

Job role:
Operate our automated fabric cutting machine
Cut patterned fabrics and leather by hand
Have a keen eye for quality and safe working procedures
Learn the properties and characteristics of our fabric and leather ranges
Learn how to process your workflow on our computer system in accordance with production schedules.
Operate our 2D CAD system which is used to generate cutting patterns in order to minimise waste.
