Job Description.
We’re seeking a highly experienced plant operator to join our team at MATPRO. The ideal candidate will have proven experience and hold valid tickets for crushers, excavators, and shovels. This role is not for beginners, we need someone who can hit the ground running and deliver a high standard from day one.
This is a travel role: you’ll be working away from home on a 10 days on / 4 days off rotation, so please only apply if you’re comfortable with this schedule. A fuel card and company van will be provided, and salary is to be confirmed based on experience.
What you’ll do:
- Operate excavators, crushers, screeners & load shovels.
- Carry out daily checks & basic maintenance.
- Work with the team to move and stockpile materials.
What you’ll need:
- CPCS or NPORS ticket (essential).
- Experience in quarry, recycling, or aggregate operations.
- Safety-first mindset & reliable work ethic.
- Must have driving license and be able to work away from home on occasion.
- Prior experience with excavators, crushers, screeners & load shovels essential; additional certifications are advantageous
