We are looking for a friendly, organised and proactive P&C Receptionist & Administrator to provide a professional first point of contact for visitors and employees, while supporting the People & Culture team with day-to-day administration.
The role includes reception and hospitality, office supplies and catering, payroll and benefits support, fleet administration, onboarding/offboarding, employee records, reporting and general P&C administration.
The ideal candidate will be approachable, reliable and highly organised, with excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to manage a varied workload in a fast-paced environment. A positive attitude, strong work ethic and willingness to learn new technology are essential.
Job Purpose: As the P&C Receptionist & Administrator, you will create a warm, professional and positive first impression while providing efficient front-of-house support and day-to-day administration for the People & Culture function.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
Front of House Duties
- Act as the first point of contact for all visitors, employees, telephone and walk in enquiries.
- Manage reception desk operations, including greeting guests, handling calls, and responding to enquiries.
- Visitor Hospitality.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming reception area.
- Oversee visitor sign-in procedures and ensure compliance with security protocols.
- Coordinate meeting room bookings and ensure rooms are prepared and equipped.
- Visitor/Guest Parking.
- Incoming and filtering of switchboard telephone calls, and re-direction.
- Incoming post & parcel deliveries.
- Outgoing post, parcels, and samples.
Office, Hospitality & Supplies Administration

Remuneration, Benefits & Fleet Administration
- Assist with routine payroll and pension administration.
- Support company vehicle and fleet administration.
- Support benefits and salary sacrifice administration.
- Provide wider administrative support across payroll, remuneration, benefits and fleet activities, including trackers, correspondence, reporting, year-end information, compliance records and escalation of complex matters where required.
People Administration
- Administrative tasks for onboarding & offboarding of staff.
- Maintain organisational charts and departmental records.
- Maintain routine departmental KPIs, trackers and reports.
- Conduct surveys, feedback activities and data collection exercises.
- Support People & Culture projects and process improvement activities.
- Assist with employee communications and departmental administration.
- Process and maintain expenses and invoice.
- Any other administrative tasks set by Remuneration & Benefits Advisor.

What’s on offer?
Basic Salary: £30,000.00 to £33,000.00 (depending on experience) per annum based on 37.5 hours per week
NPGSBS: Potential to earn 20% of Basic salary as part of the company Net Profit Gain Share Bonus System (NPGSBS)
Total Package: £36,000.00 to £39,600.00
Holidays: 33 days per year including 8 Bank Holidays – (5 days to be taken at Christmas).
Loyalty Holiday accrued from Year 2, with 1 additional day awarded in Yr2, Yr4, Yr6, Yr8, Yr10 – up to a max of 5 additional long service holiday days). Option to purchase 5 additional days per year.
