The Role.
We are looking for a talented and driven Architectural Technologist to join our growing team at our office near King's Lynn. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of projects. We have extensive experience across a broad range of sectors with a significant focus on serving clients in the food manufacturing industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce detailed technical drawings, specifications and construction packages
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and clients to ensure designs meet project requirements.
- Assist in planning and coordination of construction documents.
- Support project managers with technical specifications and documentation.
- Resolve technical issues and response to site queries during construction phase.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure design compliance.
- Ensure compliance with UK Building Regulations and relevant standards.
- Support project delivery from concept to completion.
Requirements of this Role.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and other relevant software.
- HNC/HND or Degree in Architectural Technology (or equivalent)
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Clear and effective communication skills.
- Ability to manage workload independently and as part of a team.
- Full UK driving license and own transport is essential due to office location.
Desirable Experience/Skills.
- Experience working on industrial projects
- On-site / construction phase experience
- An understanding of construction processes and UK building regulations.
- CIAT membership (Currently holding or working towards)
- Knowledge of food manufacturing sectors (including meat processing, cold storage, dairy, bakery) and applicable industry standards
