The ASB Officer plays an important role in supporting Cobalt’s proactive, customer-focused and effective approach to tackling anti-social behaviour across its neighbourhoods. Reporting to the Senior ASB Officer, you will work as part of the Successful Tenancies Team to help create safe, secure and desirable neighbourhoods by investigating and resolving anti-social behaviour cases, enforcing tenancy agreements and taking appropriate action to protect individuals and the wider community.
You will be responsible for managing your own ASB caseload, ensuring cases are handled effectively, evidence is gathered to a standard suitable for legal proceedings and victims, witnesses and perpetrators are engaged with professionally and sensitively. The role requires a calm, organised and resilient approach, with the ability to prioritise work, meet deadlines and respond appropriately to complex and sometimes challenging situations.
Working collaboratively with colleagues across Cobalt, neighbourhood teams, the Police, statutory agencies, residents and community partners, you will contribute to a consistent approach to reducing crime and anti-social behaviour. You will represent Cobalt at meetings, case conferences, resident forums and, where required, Court, helping to deliver positive outcomes for customers and communities
