Job Role:
To deliver and collect construction equipment promptly and efficiently, whilst providing a high level of customer service. Fitter work is required as well as a driving role.
Key Duties:
· Delivery of Plant and Plant Attachments to construction sites
· Ability to drive different classes of vehicle competently including towing
· Fit attachments to machine with operator assistance
· Match hydraulic couplings, Install and test plant attachments on site
· Test flow and pressure levels
· Evidence all work using mobile device
· Help keep the yard and workshop areas in a clean and tidy condition
· Keeping your vehicle and equipment organised, clean and serviceable
· Ensure that the Company Health and Safety procedures are followed at all times.
Key Competencies:
· Clean current driving licence & driver CPC / HGV Class 2 entitlement, Class 1 would be an advantage
· Clear understanding of tachograph regulations and vehicle checks
· Previous experience of working with plant or attachments an advantage
· Forklift truck trained an advantage
· Attention to detail
· Able to work under own initiative but must be a team player
· Excellent customer service skills
· Friendly, calm and helpful
