We are looking for a person to work in our sandwich / cake shops - one day in our Fulwood Shop 8,30am - 4pm and 2 days in our Hutton Shop 7am - 2.30pm, plus cover holidays when needed
Key Responsibilities
- Keep the shop clean, tidy, and presentable at all times
- Replenish stock and ensure displays are well maintained
- Serve customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing a positive customer experience
- Prepare breakfast items, hot lunches (including jacket potatoes, paninis, wraps), sandwiches, and other food products
- Ensure the kitchen is kept to all legal and food safety requirements
- Complete all required daily paperwork accurately
- Handle cash and card payments responsibly
- Open and close the till as required
- Open and close the shop, following company procedures
Skills & Requirements
- Previous experience in a café, food shop, or kitchen environment is required
- Good customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work well as part of a team and independently
- Good attention to cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety
- Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy
- Comfortable with cash handling and basic paperwork
