Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ physical, sensory, and cognitive abilities to identify their needs and goals.

- Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including exercises, activities, and adaptive techniques.
- Monitor patient progress regularly and adjust therapy programmes accordingly to optimise outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families on exercises, strategies, and equipment to support ongoing recovery at home.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams such as doctors, physiotherapists, and social workers to ensure cohesive patient care.
- Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Stay informed about the latest developments in occupational therapy practices through continuous professional development.
Skills
- Qualification in Occupational Therapy recognised by relevant professional bodies.
- Proven experience in delivering occupational therapy services across diverse patient populations is desirable.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases effectively.
- Strong communication skills to clearly explain treatment plans and motivate patients.
- Empathy and patience when working with individuals facing physical or cognitive challenges.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations, safeguarding procedures, and ethical standards within the UK healthcare system.
