Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the shop, including shelves, displays, and stockrooms.
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving deliveries, restocking shelves, and conducting stock checks.
- Process transactions accurately at the till and handle cash responsibly.
- Provide product information and recommendations to customers, enhancing their shopping experience.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and maintain high standards of customer service.
- Address customer complaints or concerns promptly and professionally.
- Support promotional activities and assist in setting up displays as needed.
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred but not essential.
- A friendly and approachable demeanour with a passion for providing excellent customer service.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail to maintain shop standards.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends if required.
