The Centre for Financial Professionals (CeFPro) is an international events, media and market intelligence company. Under the CeFPro umbrella, we produce and run b2b events and webinars in the UK, Middle East, Europe and North America. We produce the Connect Magazine, featuring the latest industry news; Connect+, a global financial community platform; and Market Intelligence, which provides deep insights into cutting-edge topics through industry reports and surveys.
The Role:
As an Sponsorship Sales Manager, you will manage the end-to-end sales process, working across sponsorship and delegate revenue streams. You will build relationships with senior decision-makers, understand client objectives, and create tailored commercial solutions.
You will be expected to take ownership of your pipeline and targets, while collaborating closely with internal teams to ensure successful delivery.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing the full sales lifecycle, from lead generation through to closing sponsorship and delegate deals
- Engaging senior stakeholders using a consultative, question-led sales approach
- Designing bespoke sponsorship packages aligned to client objectives
- Maintaining a strong, accurately forecasted sales pipeline through CRM discipline
- Conducting high volume outreach across multiple channels to generate opportunities while growing revenue from existing clients
- Working closely with Marketing, Production, and Operations to deliver high-quality events and campaigns
- Feed market and client insights back to the wider business to support product development and strategy.
- Act as a pivotal team member in the end-to-end delivery of CeFPro events, consistently hitting (and where possible exceeding) targets through proactive cross-departmental project support.
Ideal Candidates Will Have:
We are looking for an energetic, proactive individual who is ready to take ownership of their results and grow in a high-performance environment.
- 1+ years’ experience in a sponsorship or delegate sales
- A proactive approach to sourcing new business and building a sales pipeline
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Confidence engaging with clients both over the phone and face-to-face
- A commercially minded, solutions-focused mindset
- High energy, ambition, and a desire to continuously improve
- Strong organisation and attention to detail
- Willingness to travel for events and client meetings
- Ability to work 60% of the time in the office (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday are typical in-office days for this role).
Experience within events, media, or financial services is advantageous but not essential.
