The new Deputy Manager role has been created due to the following reasons; 1) Recent organic growth resulting in a 30% increase in hours, 2) the need for improved compliance and regulatory standards following the CQC inspection and 3) recent acceptance onto the South Gloucestershire framework. This role is fundamental to the operational success of Village Care.
This role is multi-functional; the key remit is not only to help coordinate care visits and care staff to ensure we satisfy Client demands and their preferences, whilst ensuring the service runs effectively and efficiently, it is assessing new clients to grow the service but also to assist in our compliance ensuring we are meeting the required standards. This includes training and monitoring other members of the team and carrying out audits as required.
The role is full time, , you will be required to work during office hours with regular trips to Head Office (BS35) so you can liaise and be hands on with the team.
You will need to possess leadership qualities that engages and motivates the care team, setting clear expectations and delivery of the highest standards across all elements of the business, be able to work well under pressure and with conflicting priorities.
The postholder is a key member of the Operations Team, must have great attention to detail, a good understanding of compliance and be comfortable with all aspects of care delivery with the ability to provide hands on care when required. This position is also part of the oncall team; covering an average of 1 week per month and one weekend per month.
