Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of menu items with precision and creativity, ensuring consistent quality and presentation
- Follow established recipes, portion controls, and cooking techniques to deliver exceptional dishes
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of ingredients and utensils
- Adhere strictly to food safety standards and sanitation procedures at all times
- Assist in meal planning, ingredient preparation, and inventory management to optimize kitchen efficiency
- Support serving staff by ensuring timely food delivery and addressing special dietary requests when needed
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive, energetic work environment that promotes teamwork and high performance
Experience
- Proven experience working as a Chef or Cook in a busy restaurant or food service setting
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and culinary principles
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in sanitation
- Experience with meal preparation for large groups or catering is a plus
- Prior kitchen experience demonstrating efficiency, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and serving staff
