Community Care Assistant – Royston / Melbourn (Temporary Cover Position)

Premium Staff Ltd is currently seeking compassionate and reliable Care Assistants to support clients living independently in their own homes in the Royston and Melbourn area.
This is a temporary cover position running from 20th June to 1st July, offering regular morning and lunchtime calls on weekdays. The role would suit an experienced carer looking for additional hours or flexible work within the local area.
Shift Pattern
Weekdays Only
- 08:00 – 09:00
- 09:00 – 10:00
- 12:00 – 13:00 (excluding Wednesdays)
- 13:00 – 13:30 (excluding Tuesdays)
Applicants may be available for some or all of the calls.
Duties May Include
- Personal care support
- Assisting with daily living activities
- Medication prompting and support
- Meal preparation
- Companionship and wellbeing checks
- Light household duties
- Promoting independence and dignity at all times
- Accurate record keeping
Requirements
- Previous care experience preferred
- Caring, compassionate and professional approach
- Good communication skills
- Reliable and punctual
- Right to work in the UK
- Enhanced DBS preferred (or willingness to obtain one)
- Driving licence and access to a vehicle desirable due to travelling between calls
