We are seeking a motivated Project Coordinator to support the successful delivery of projects for our UK and international customers. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with project experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment who is looking to develop towards a Project Manager role.
Working alongside Project Managers and cross-functional teams, you will help coordinate project activities, maintain customer relationships, track progress, and ensure projects are delivered on time and to customer expectations.
The role:
As Project Coordinator, you will support the planning, coordination and execution of multiple customer projects, acting as a key link between internal teams and external stakeholders.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Supporting Project Managers with the day-to-day coordination of customer projects.
- Maintaining project schedules, trackers and documentation.
- Liaising with customers to provide updates and ensure a positive customer experience throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinating activities across engineering, manufacturing, procurement and logistics teams.
- Monitoring project milestones and highlighting potential risks or delays.
- Assisting with project reporting and progress reviews.
- Supporting customer meetings, both virtual and on-site.
- Coordinating international travel and site activities when required.
- Ensuring project information is accurately maintained within company systems.
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and project management best practices.
What you’ll need:
- Experience working on projects within an engineering, manufacturing or technical environment.
- Previous experience in a Project Coordinator, Project Support, Project Engineer or similar role.
- Excellent customer-facing and communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Comfortable working with project plans, schedules and reporting.
- Willingness to travel internationally.
