Job Title: Support Worker
Location: Great Harwood
Salary: Weekdays £15.00 per hour, Weekends £16.00 per hour
Hours: Part time - 19 hours per week during term time (39 weeks of the year) and 26 hours per week during school holidays (13 weeks per year), you will be working on a rolling rota.
We are looking for a bright/enthusiastic, sociable/adventurous/punctual/reliable/motivated individual, who has a positive outlook to work with our client. You will be required to support our client in her home within the Great Harwood area. You will be working with our 11 year-old client who enjoys living life to the fullest, days out with the family and support workers.
The family have dogs, so you must be comfortable around big dogs.
DUTIES:
Your duties will include:
· Assisting with activities of daily living
· Accompanying to social events/activities
· Providing carry over of therapy programmes
· Working alongside therapist
· Help reach their goals
· Provide personal care
· Medical appointments
PERSON SPECIFICATION:
Qualifications: NVQ not essential.
Experience: We particularly welcome applications from people with experience in care.
Special Requirements: Car driver essential, female applicants only.
