Adult Community Services (Domestic Abuse) Team Lead - Maternity Cover*
Salary £20,708 per annum (full time equivalent £35,500 per annum)
21 hours per week (Monday to Friday) with some flexibility required to attend meetings and/or undertake work outside of core hours plus an element of paid on-call responsibility.
We are looking for an experienced Team Lead with strong people management skills and a passion for supporting survivors of domestic abuse.
Working with peer colleagues, you will have responsibility for ensuring the delivery of a high-quality, trauma-informed community-based service for adults. This is an interesting and challenging role where you will have line management responsibility for a team of front-line professionals. You will be involved in multi-agency and partnership working so the skills to build strong relationships is essential as is the ability to risk-assess and advocate effectively. There will be the opportunity to contribute to the development and promotion of the service, so you must be comfortable with presenting and facilitating group sessions.
You will need to be able to demonstrate:
- line management experience (of both people and services), ideally within the charity sector and/or a trauma informed environment
- the ability to successfully managing projects and service delivery
- experience of effective case holding and associated skills
- strong organisational and IT skills, including data entry
- knowledge of issues relating to domestic abuse
You must also:
- have a full UK driving licence with access to a reliable car that can be used for work purposes and live within a maximum 45 minute drive of our offices in Woking
- be able to undertake on-call duties as part of a rota.
