Aim of the Spa Duty Manager role:
- Take ownership for covering all reception shifts with a rota system.
- Ensure each new reception staff member goes through an induction and training programme.
- Monitor staff development and follow the Company appraisal system in conjunction with the Spa Manager.
- Manage the Reception team, ensuring all treatments and fitness bookings are taken efficiently and accurately, and that all other administrative reception procedures are followed correctly.
- Generate sales leads through outreach activities and corporate events.
- Take prospective new members on show-rounds within the Spa and Hotel Facilities.
- Contribute to the membership budget.
- Ensure membership packs are completed in a timely manner.
- Arrange and develop all Spa Events and provide appropriate costings within the department budgets.
- Complete monthly retention calls.
- Complete a weekly forecast spreadsheet.
Spa Duty Manager - About you:
- Must have previous Spa Supervisory or Management experience.
- Treatment background, including NVQ level 3 or equivalent qualification, is desirable.
- Excellent communication skills and customer service required.
- Keen eye for detail, organisational skills, and confidence in communicating with the team.
