Job Title: Residential Housekeeping Support Worker
Location: This is an on-site role working within our Residential Living service at our beautiful rural site in the village of Market Overton, Rutland.
Job Type: Part-Time – 25 hours per week
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 12:30pm
Salary: £16,880 per annum (£12.95 per hour – Pay Point 1)

The Lodge Trust CIO is a Christian charity based in Market Overton, Rutland, providing supported living, residential care, day opportunities, and work-based activities for adults with learning disabilities. Role Purpose –
This rewarding role combines compassionate morning support for adults with learning disabilities with high-quality housekeeping responsibilities across our residential homes and holiday lodges.
Each day begins by supporting residents with their morning routines, helping them to start the day with dignity, confidence and independence. You will then transition into maintaining our residential homes to exceptional standards of cleanliness and comfort, while also preparing our on-site holiday lodges to provide an outstanding experience for guests.
Working as part of our Residential Living Team, you will help create safe, welcoming environments where residents can thrive and visitors experience the warmth and excellence that The Lodge Trust is known for.
Key Responsibilities –
- Support residents with getting up, personal care, dressing and breakfast routines in accordance with individual care plans
- Encourage independence by enabling residents to do as much as possible for themselves while providing compassionate support where needed
- Build positive, respectful relationships that promote dignity, wellbeing and choice
- Maintain exceptionally high standards of housekeeping across allocated residential homes
- Clean bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, lounges, dining rooms and communal areas using approved cleaning methods
- Complete laundry duties, including washing, drying, ironing and storing residents' clothing and household linen
- Carry out planned deep cleaning programmes and maintain accurate cleaning records
- Prepare holiday lodges to an exceptional hospitality standard between guest stays, including making beds, replenishing supplies and ensuring every detail is guest-ready
- Identify and report maintenance issues, safety concerns or changes in residents' wellbeing promptly
- Follow Health & Safety, Infection Prevention, COSHH and safeguarding procedures at all times
- Work collaboratively with Senior Support Workers and the wider Residential Living Team to deliver high-quality, person-centred support
