Salary: £27,500 per annum (depending on experience)

Due to continued growth, we are looking for two Experienced Accounts Assistants to join our expanding team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for ambitious, AAT-qualified individuals who are looking to take on a varied and rewarding role within a busy and growing accountancy practice. We are looking for confident team players who can hit the ground running, support junior team members, and play an important role in delivering excellent service to our clients.
What You'll Be Doing
- Preparing management accounts for a varied portfolio of clients
- Assisting with and preparing year-end accounts
- Reviewing work completed by junior members of the team
- Providing guidance and support to trainee and junior staff
- Preparing and reviewing VAT returns
- Processing and overseeing payroll requirements
- Liaising directly with clients and responding to queries
- Ensuring client deadlines are met and work is completed to a high standard
- Using Sage to manage client records and the use of Thomson Reuters
What We're Looking For
- AAT qualified
- Previous experience within an accountancy practice
- Experience preparing management accounts and year-end accounts
- Strong knowledge of VAT and payroll
- Experience using Sage and Thomson Reuters
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- A proactive and professional approach
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Confidence supporting and mentoring junior colleagues
