Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential, commercial, or healthcare facilities, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness in all assigned areas, paying special attention to bathrooms, kitchens, and high-touch surfaces
- Use commercial cleaning equipment and supplies safely and efficiently to ensure optimal results
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap dispensers, and other consumables as needed
- Follow established health and safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a hygienic environment
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to supervisors
- Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleans as scheduled or requested
Experience
- Prior janitorial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided for motivated candidates
- Experience working in hospital settings is a plus, demonstrating familiarity with strict sanitation standards and infection control procedures
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques for different surfaces and environments is advantageous
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high-quality standards
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are essential for success in this role
