Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and versatile General Assistant to support our hospitality, housekeeping and food service operations. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring smooth daily functions, delivering excellent guest services, and maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness. Duties
- Assist with food preparation at breakfast and meal assembly to meet quality standards.
- Serve guests courteously, ensuring a positive dining experience through excellent guest services.
- Handle delivery duties as required, including transporting supplies or meals within the premises or to external locations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work areas, including kitchens, dining spaces, and storage areas and rooms
- Ensure adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times.
- Take orders via phone or in person, demonstrating professional phone etiquette and communication skills.
- Assist with setting up dining areas for service or events, ensuring presentation standards are met.
- Support other team members with general tasks such as stock replenishment and equipment cleaning.
Skills
- Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant service, or food preparation is advantageous.
- Familiarity with food safety procedures and hygiene standards.
- Experience as a delivery driver or in courier roles is beneficial.
- Knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen operations preferred.
- Customer service skills with an emphasis on friendly communication and guest satisfaction.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organisational skills for maintaining cleanliness and stock levels.
- Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal communication skills.
- Flexibility to adapt to various roles within the hospitality setting, including serving, meal preparation, or supporting kitchen staff.

Pay: £19,000.00-£21,500.00 per year
