Overview
We are seeking an accomplished and professional Commercial Solicitor with with 4 + years PQE to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a solid understanding of IT systems relevant to legal practice. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work within a dynamic environment, providing expert legal advice and support on commercial matters. The successful applicant will be responsible for managing a variety of legal tasks, ensuring compliance, and fostering positive client relationships. The firm is happy to consider a candidate who would like to work full time who would be willing to take on residential matters also.
Duties will include:
- Buying and selling commercial property
- Commercial leases and licences
- Property finance transactions
- Development work
- Options agreements
- Pre-emption agreements
- Overage agreements
- Landlord and tenant matters
- Providing clear and concise legal advice on commercial transactions, compliance issues, and risk management.
- Conducting legal research and staying updated on relevant legislation affecting commercial activities.
- Liaising with clients, stakeholders, and external legal professionals to facilitate smooth contractual processes.
- Ensuring all legal activities adhere to organisational policies and regulatory requirements.
- Dealing with banks and financial institutions and their requirements for mortgaging properties

- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts clearly and effectively.
- Confident managing their own caseload independently
- Has experience supervising or helping to develop a team
