About Little Love Club
Little Love Club is an independent, high-end cocktail bar in the heart of Loughborough.
We're all about great drinks, brilliant service and creating a welcoming atmosphere where people genuinely want to spend their time.
We're now looking for an Assistant Bar Manager to join our team, working alongside our Bar Manager and owners to help with the day-to-day running of the venue.
We're looking for someone who loves hospitality, takes pride in what they do and is confident leading a team and taking charge of a busy shift when required.
The Role
As Assistant Bar Manager, you'll be a key part of the management team, helping to ensure every shift runs smoothly and our standards remain consistently high.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading and supervising the bar team during shifts
- Opening and closing the venue
- Cashing up and completing end-of-night procedures
- Maintaining excellent standards of customer service
- Making and serving cocktails and other drinks to a consistently high standard
- Supporting, training and motivating members of the bar team
- Ensuring the venue is clean, organised and presented to a high standard
- Handling customer queries and resolving issues confidently and professionally
- Receiving and handling deliveries
- Ensuring licensing, health & safety and company procedures are followed
- Supporting the Bar Manager and owners with events, private hires and busy periods
- Confidently taking charge of the venue when required
About You
Ideally, you'll have:
- Previous experience in a supervisory, team leader or management role within a bar, restaurant or hospitality environment
- Good cocktail and drinks knowledge
- Confidence leading a team and running a busy service
- Excellent customer service skills
- A friendly, positive and professional approach
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- The ability to remain calm and make sensible decisions during busy periods
- A genuine passion for hospitality and creating a great experience for customers
Most importantly, we're looking for someone reliable, personable and hands-on who wants to become an important part of our team.

Hours & Availability
This is a four-day working week, Wednesday to Saturday, totalling approximately 40 hours.
The role includes evenings, weekends and late-night finishes, including the opening and closing of the venue, so applicants must be comfortable working these hours.
Applicants must be 18 or over due to the nature of the role.
Availability over key hospitality periods, including Christmas and New Year, is also required.
