About the role:
Hunters 4 Staff are working with an established, family-run engineering company based in Cheadle. They're looking for an experienced Fabricator Welder / Plater to join their team, working with medium to heavy gauge materials. This is a hands-on role with an immediate start available and the chance to secure a permanent position.
Key responsibilities:
- Fabricating and welding medium to heavy gauge steel components
- Working from and interpreting detailed engineering drawings
- Carrying out MIG welding to a high standard
- Ensuring work meets quality and safety standards
- Maintaining a clean and organised work area
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Fabricator Welder or Plater
- Strong ability to read and work from engineering drawings
- Experience with medium to heavy gauge welding
- Good attention to detail and a practical approach to work
- Reliable with a strong work ethic
