Bar Manager
To oversee our daily operations and lead the team
We’re looking for an experienced, organised Manager to take charge of day-to-day running of the bar. You’ll ensure smooth operations, manage stock and ordering, maintain cellar and line cleanliness, and prepare staff rotas. You’ll lead by example, support the team, and help keep standards high across the pub.
Key responsibilities:
- ✅ Day-to-day management of the bar and operations
- ✅ Stock control, ordering and supplier liaison
- ✅ Cellar management, including cleaning and maintaining beer lines
- ✅ Creating staff rotas and covering shifts as needed
- ✅ Upholding standards of service, cleanliness and compliance
What we’re looking for:
- ✅ Proven experience in a supervisory or bar management role
- ✅ Strong knowledge of cellar care, beer quality and health & safety
- ✅ Confident with ordering, stock management and rotas
- ✅ Excellent communication — able to lead a team and build rapport with regulars
- ✅ Calm under pressure, well-organised, and genuinely community-minded
